Raspberry and Apple Smoothie Recipe🍏

  • 2 apples, cored
  • 150g frozen raspberries
  • 150ml natural yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp porridge oats
  • 100ml milk

Tip all ingredients into a blender or smoothie maker and blitz until smooth, adding 50ml water or milk if it’s too thick.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie Recipe🍫🥜

This smoothie was quite thick so I would recommend adding more than 300ml milk. I like the combination of peanut butter, banana and cocoa powder and this is a smoothie I would make again.

ingredients

  • 2 bananas
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 300ml-400ml milk
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp porridge oats
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds

method

  • Add the bananas,cocoa powder, oats, seeds, peanut butter and 300ml milk and blend for at least 30 seconds, until completely smooth. If it is is too thick, add some more milk and blend again. Pour into two glasses and serve with a straw.

Blueberry Smoothie Recipe

This recipe serves 2. This smoothie has a thick consistency and I enjoyed it with my breakfast this morning.

ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh blueberries
  • 2 cups plain yoghurt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 cup ice cubes

method

  • In a blender, combine the blueberries, yoghurt, milk, honey and ice.
  • Puree until smooth.

Mango, Passion fruit and Orange Smoothie Recipe🥭🍊

This was my first time to ever buy passion fruit so I had to look up how it is eaten. To eat a passion fruit raw, it is cut in half and a spoon is used to remove the pulp and seeds. The pulp and seeds are edible, the rind is not. Smoothies taste better slightly chilled, so always add a handful of ice to the mix.

ingredients

1 large ripe mango, peeled and cut into pieces

2 passion fruit, flesh scooped out

1 orange, peeled and cut into pieces

2 bananas, peeled and cut into pieces

method

  • Put the fruit in a blender and top up with 150ml water and a handful of ice. Whizz for about 1 minute until smooth, then pour into glasses and serve. This recipe serves 2.

Kiwi &Banana Smoothie Recipe🥝🍌

Kiwis aren’t my fruit of choice. Nevertheless, I decided to make a kiwi and banana smoothie this morning and it did not fail to disappoint.

ingredients

  • 3 kiwi fruit
  • 4 tablespoons organic porridge oats
  • 1 banana
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 200ml milk
  • 250g natural yoghurt
  • 1/2 cm piece fresh ginger (optional)
  • honey (optional)

method

  • Top and the tail the kiwi fruit and stand them on their ends. Slice the skin off in vertical strips with a sharp knife.
  • Whiz the kiwi fruit with the remaining ingredients, apart from the honey, in a blender for 30 seconds. Sweeten with a little honey, if you like.

Coconut Milk Smoothie Recipe🥥

This recipe is by myrecipes and serves 4. This smoothie has a thick consistency due to the yoghurt and I prefer this recipe to the Strawberry-Coconut Smoothie Recipe I made recently.

ingredients

  • 1 10-ounce bag frozen berries
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup plain yoghurt
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons honey

method

  • In a blender, puree the berries, bananas, yoghurt, coconut milk and honey. Serve.

Pineapple & Banana Smoothie Recipe🍍🍌

I enjoyed this refreshing smoothie with my breakfast this morning while sitting outside in the sun.

4 ice cubes

¼ fresh pineapple-peeled, cored and cubed

1 large banana, cut into chunks

1 cup pineapple or apple juice (I used apple juice)

method

  • Place ice cubes, pineapple, banana and apple juice in a blender and process until smooth and thick.

Strawberry-Coconut Smoothie Recipe🍓🥥
