DIY- Paper Heart Garland❤️

This simple Paper Heart Garland is a fun addition to your Valentine’s Day Decor. This decoration would look lovely in a bedroom or even at a bridal party or baby shower. It doesn’t take long to make this garland depending on how many hearts you add.  You can use different size strips if you want hearts of different sizes on your Valentine’s Day Garland.

You will need:
  • 12 x 12 Scrapbook Paper
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Glue
  • Hole Punch
  • Twine

Cut two strips of scrapbook paper for each heart. My paper strips measured 30cm x 2.5cm each.

Fold the strip of paper in half. Measure from the top of the folded strip down 9cm and punch a hold through both sides. Curve in the tops so that it forms a heart shape and staple the two ends together to form a heart.

String one heart with twine and leave enough room on the end heart so you can hang your garland. Then tie a knot on one side of the heart. Tie another knot on the other side of the heart. String another heart onto the twine and then secure it in place with a knot on each side of the second heart. Continue along with each heart until you have all of the hearts on the garland.

Happy Valentine’s Day to all of my loyal subscribers❤️💛🤍

DIY- How to Wrap a (Gift) Box🎁

Christmas is coming 🎄These boxes can be filled with whatever gifts you like. I bought the boxes in a discount store and wrapped them with Christmas wrapping paper. You can also decorate these boxes using ribbons or Christmas labels. You can use crepe paper or clear wrapping paper to line your box if you wish. Fill your gift box(es) and place them under the Christmas tree🎄

You will need:
  • (Christmas) Wrapping paper
  • Scissors
  • Sticky tape
  • Empty carboard box
Place the lid on the paper and cut wrapping paper

Place the lid of the box faced down on your wrapping paper, leaving the paper attached to roll. Use scissors to cut paper along one side, making a wide enough sheet to cover both sides of the box. There should be an inch extra to fold over each side.

Fold the long sides up and over the lid

Tape the wrapping paper to the inside edge of the lid as pictured and repeat on the other side.

Repeat on all sides. Take the end sections and fold just like wrapping a regular box.

lid.
Repeat these steps with the box.
Cut wrapping paper

Place the box on the wrapping paper and cut the wrapping paper, making sure there is enough to cover each side of the box.

Fold the paper along the edges and tape to the sides of the box.

Repeat for all four sides.
