This body scrub can be used on your body, face or lips and is made with three simple ingredients. Sugar scrubs are great exfoliators as they help to remove dead skin cells, lift away dirt and excess oil as well as stimulating circulation. However, you shouldn’t exfoliate every day. Coconut oil is moisturising and conditioning. Brown sugar is not abrasive and is an inexpensive ingredient.
How to use a body scrub
This body scrub is not difficult and leaves you feeling soft and smooth🍑
Shower: At the end of showering, lightly pat your skin with a towel, leaving a little moisture and apply the scrub in a circular motion to your entire body. When using a sugar scrub on your face, gently apply the sugar scrub in a circular motion. 🚿
Bath: To get the best results it helps to have a nice soak in the tub first, at least 20 minutes. This will help soften the outer layers of skin and make it easier to exfoliate. 🛁
Because of the oil, the shower or bath could be a bit slippery, so be careful.
Face: Apply to the skin in gentle circles and rinse the scrub with lukewarm water. 💆
You will need:
1/2 cup base oil; coconut oil, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, almond oil, or olive oil 1 tablespoon
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
a few drops of your favourite essential oils, if desired. I used lavender oil.

Add the brown sugar, white sugar and coconut oil to a mixing bowl and rub together using your hands. Add a few drops of your favourite essential oil and mix with a spoon.
Add the body scrub to a sealed container.

This time two years ago, my best friend and I went to Rock Werchter (pronounced Vercher). Not many people know about this festival but it is one I would highly recommend. We went on the Sunday but if I were to go again I would go for the weekend🏕️ My friends brother had been there several times and goes every year but she had never been💃
Werchter is a small village in Belgium. A shuttle bus took us from Leuven and brought us to Werchter which was only 15 minutes away. So ideal! We spent the morning getting ready and prepping ourselves💅🎒🍋 We arrived around 12pm just in time for George Ezra (🤩). The weather was scorching ☀️ so we bought some coupons 🤙 which we required for beverages at a later stage🥤 and we were much excité 💯
At the festival, there were loads of great acts, including George Ezra, Post Malone, Sigrid, Kaleo, The Academic, Warbly Jets, Noel’s High Flying Birds 🎵 Arctic Monkeys were last to perform and there were fireworks. The whole day was amazing ⚡Festivals in Europe are much better than in Ireland 🎆 here was lots of other fun things to see there such as a bean bag area and ballpit. I would definitely go again🎵 By 12am we were covered in glitter and talking ráiméis to Flemish dudes.

Natural oils build up on your skin everyday. It is important to have a good skincare routine and everyone should take care of their skin, regardless of their age or gender.
Every morning, I clean my face with a damp facecloth and warm water, followed by moisturiser. My favourite brand of skincare products are No7. They have a great range of skincare creams and lotions and are good quality.
In the evening, I use cleansing lotion to remove any makeup and to clean my face. I apply cleansing lotion to cotton pads. Face cleansing should be done gently and not too harshly. After using cleansing lotion, I use a warm facecloth all over my face. The general rule of cleaning your face is to cleanse, tone, moisturise. I personally do not think this is necessary every time you clean your face. Using too many products or creams on your face can cause it to become very oily or greasy, causing spots.
I like to use a facemask once a week. Facemasks are applied for 10-15 minutes and help to clean pores. Facemasks come in different scents and it is recommended not to use a strong-smelling facemask if you have sensitive skin. There are different types of facemasks, some are creams and some are a sheet you place on your face while lying down. I personally prefer the cream types.
Taking care of the skin on your body as well as your face is necessary. Apply a good moisturiser all over your body regularly. Skin gets particularly dry during winter months. When shaving your legs or other bodyparts, you should moisturise after to prevent skin drying out. Non-scented moisturisers are recommended for sensitive skin. If your skin is sensitive, it means it is more prone to rashes or irritation.

As the quarantine restrictions are easing, we can look forward to hopping on a plane in the not too distant future (hopefully). I have listed tips below for packing a suitcase and preparing for your next trip.
Write a list of things you want to bring- you can start this weeks in advance. You may have to buy some items for the trip and having a list will prevent you from forgetting anything important.
Roll your clothes to prevent them from creasing. Clothes can be placed in vacuum compression bags which are sealed, maximising space in your suitcase.
Pack heavier items such as shoes towards the bottom of the suitcase
Pour liquids into 100ml clear containers. Containers can be bought at a discount store, pharmacy or some clothing stores. Avoid bringing too many liquids if you are only going for a few days. Don’t forget suncream!
Fit oddly shaped items such as accessories or hairbrushes last.
Bring a totebag for foodshopping or souvenirs and another small bag for laundry. Ziplock bags are great for snacks, chargers or small items such as makeup and it is always a good idea to have two or three of these handy.
Check if you require a travel adapter for the country you are travelling to.
Luggage tags can be bought at a low cost and can be useful in preventing luggage from getting lost. Limit the amount of information on your lugagge tag, you do not need to write your home address or nationality. A name, phone number and email address should do as well as the address of where you are travelling to.
Bring a scarf for the plane journey. Whether it is an early morning flight or late at night, the plane can often be chilly.
Bring a reusable water bottle that can be brought through security empty.
