It is believed that during this perceived backwards motion, technology and communication could get disrupted. We are all affected by the effect of Mercury in Retrograde

26th & 27th April : Pink Super Full Moon. This is the first supermoon of 2021. It is named after pink flowers called Phlox Subulata which bloom in some regions of the northern hemisphere.Despite its name, there will not be any noticeable difference in colour.
The full moon will be near its closest point to the Earth as it orbits. When the moon is closest to the Earth on the same night as a full moon, it is known as a supermoon. The next supermoon will be visible in May 2021.
As the moon is nearer the Earth, its gravitational pull is stronger and this makes the tides higher. Meteorologists believe higher tides combined with high winds may lead to coastal flooding or produce more intense storms.
This Super Full Moon is in Scorpio. The moon has an influence on our emotions so you may experience heightened emotions during this time. You may even experience headaches or vivid dreams. Scorpio is a sign noted for its intensity. We must recognize where we need to let go of control and let go of negative energies. Full Moons are a time for release. The moon and the sun are exactly opposite of one another and the moon’s glow is very visible during this time. Full Moons bring clarity and revelations, they show us what we need to know and what we need to address at a certain time. The moon affects all zodiac signs, but Scorpio and Taurus will feel it the most. Click here to make Moon Water .
There is a Supermoon tonight. This post explains how to make Moon Water. Moon Water is simply water that has had time to sit under the light of the full moon and absorb some of its power. What do you do with Moon Water? There are many options…
Use it to clean your altar, sacred space, crystals
Add it to a ritual bath
Dip your brushes in it when you paint
Use it to water your plants
Create a fragrant room spray by adding essential oils and alcohol
Use in an essential oil diffuser
Drink it (if you have not added essential oils)
To anoint your body as a way of energetically cleansing yourself
you will need:
Water-safe Crystals (optional)
Essential oils (optional)
Use incense to clean your crystals, the jar and the space around it.
Add water-safe crystals to the jar.
Add water to the jar.
Add a few drops of essential oils (if using and don’t plan on drinking the water). You can use a lid if you wish but this is optional. Using a lid will keep the water clean.
Say an affirmation or prayer to set an intention for your full moon ritual.
Put your Moon Water under the Full Moon to charge overnight.
In astronomy, a new moon marks the first lunar phase. A new moon symbolises new beginnings. Many people use the energy of a new moon when starting a new project or to achieve their goals. There is a full moon approximately every 30 days. This is the length of time it takes for the Moon to go through one whole lunar phase cycle.
The Moon’s phases and the months of the year are connected – the word ‘month’ takes its root from the word ‘moon’. During April and May this year there will be a ‘supermoon’.
During a New Moon, the Sun and the Moon are aligned. The Sun and the Earth are on opposite sides of the moon. The side of the moon facing the Earth receives no direct sunlight and is lit only by dim sunlight reflected from Earth. The Earth and Sun are at the same celestial longitude. The Moon is only ‘New’ for a moment, when the when the Sun and the Moon are directly aligned in the sky.
The energy of a new moon lasts approximately three days before and after the lunation. The moon phases can affect our mind, body and emotions.
What to do during the new moon:
Write down your intentions and what you’re looking to manifest
Being tapped into our energy and the energy of those around us can be beneficial. If you are someone who is sensitive to the emotions of those around you or someone who is easily influenced by the energies and opinions of others, this blogpost may be helpful. If you are an empath or highly sensitive person, soaking up negative energy of those around you can leave you feeling drained and exhausted. If someone or something is mentally draining you, you are going to feel terrible. Protecting your energy is important for your mental and physical health and determines your overall happiness. 🧘
Below are some ways you can protect your emotional energy and inner peace
Tune into how you are feeling
Trust in yourself
Be less reactive, or non-reactive
Learn to say No to people who drain you. Do you often say “yes” to things you don’t feel like doing, just to be polite, or because you feel like you have to?
Please yourself before pleasing others, your needs are important as anybody else’s. Being a people-pleaser can take a toll on your wellbeing
Set healthy boundaries and establish healthy relationships
It is no secret that toxic people are skilled at draining the life out of you. Cutting energy vampires out of your life or consciously avoiding these leeches will cause a drastic improvement in your psychological wellbeing, happiness and quality of life. Nobody is obliged to stay in a toxic environment or be around these types of people.
Maybe you have some of these traits or can identify these traits in others? Identifying these types of people and practicing self-care is key. 🙂🗝️💆👌
You may have heard of Chakras at a yoga class, meditation class or energy healing session such as Reiki. The word Chakra translates to ‘wheel‘ or ‘disk’ in Sanskrit. There are 7 main Chakras, each corresponding to a specific organ as well as spiritual, psychological, physical and emotional states. Chakras are energy vortexes that are placed in 7 different points on the spinal column. Within each Chakra is a ‘Prana’, or the ultimate healing energy🌙⭐ If a Chakra is open and aligned, it means energy can run freely and harmony exists between the physical body mind and spirit. According to NASA, there is a new 13th star sign, Ophiuchus, meaning we may have been reading the wrong horoscopes all along (ugh so frustrating😤🤦♀️). The ancient Babylonians ignored the fact the sun moves through 13 constellations, not 12, to make a tidy match with the 12-month calendar. Ophiuchus comes from the Greek word meaning ‘serpent bearing’ and is represented by a man wrestling a snake🐍
My birthday is in early February, meaning my star sign is Aquarius, or at least used to be ♒
Now, my star sign is Capricorn ♑🐐
Below is a list of the new star signs
Capricorn: Jan 20 – Feb 15♑
Aquarius: Feb 16 – March 11♒
Pisces: March 12 – April 18♓
Aries: April 19 – May 13♈
Taurus: May 14 – June 21♉
Gemini: June 22 – July 20♊
Cancer: July 21 – Aug 10♋
Leo: Aug 11 – Sept 16♌
Virgo: Sept 17 – Oct 30♍
Libra: Oct 31 – Nov 23♎
Scorpio: Nov 24 – Nov 29♏
Ophiuchus: Nov 30 – Dec 17⛎
Sagittarius: Dec 18 – Jan 20♐
Horoscopes refer to the position of the Sun at the time of birth🌞 Whether you believe in horoscope readings or not is up to you. I am quite spiritual and would like to believe them 🌌 Astrology fascinates me 🌠

Make any room in your house instantly look bigger and brighter using these simple steps.
Lighting: Brightly coloured walls can make a room look brighter and feel bigger and airier. Dark colours in the other hand, make a room look smaller. Big windows allow more light into the room than small windows. A light that does not hang low from the ceiling will maximise space.
Plants: Having plants in the room can add and improve your overall happiness and wellbeing. Research proves that adding potted plants or a vase of flowers to a room can purify the air, increase your happiness and wellbeing and improve your night’s sleep.
Furniture arrangement: Arrange your furniture in a way that the room is more spacious and does not obstruct light shining in a window. Don’t move furniture too often as it can sometimes scratch surfaces or mark the wall.
Mirrors placed in the right part of the room can make a difference. Placing them across from a window maximises the size of a room. Clean mirrors and windows regularly using a cloth and glass cleaner.
Reduce clutter: Keep the number of pictures or posters on the walls to a minimum, they can make the room crowded and darker. Have a small bin that is out of clear view for your rubbish. Rugs can make the room less spacious.
Colour coordination: A colour scheme in a room can make a difference to the overall feel and look of the room. Paint, cushions, upholstery, pictures, ornaments. Check out homeware and interior websites for inspiration.

I have recently started doing yoga and meditating more often. I was secretary of the yoga society at University this year, where I met lots of lovely likeminded people and helped organise events such as a morning swimrise, Tea for Thought, Cacao Ceremony and Mandala workshop. We often had food delivered from local vegetarian restaurants too.
Anybody can do yoga. Yoga is very beneficial, particularly if you’re an emotional sponge like me. There are lots of yoga channels with trained instructors on youtube. In todays world, we are swayed by other peoples opinions, beliefs and values. Yoga aligns you with your soul, inner being, true purpose and core values. Yoga connects you with you. Your ‘true self’. It is awakening, replenishing and reviving.
It helps to have a good yoga mat, one of which is on my shopping list. Things that may help you to relax are essential oils, candles and yoga music (lots on spotify) (be careful not to burn the house down). You can do yoga or meditation for as long as you want. It can be ten minutes, half an hour, or longer. You can do yoga or meditate alone, or you can do it with others, although this may be distracting and you may not feel the full benefits. Some people do yoga or meditate every day. If you only have time to do yoga once a week it is still beneficial.
